 Martial arts anyone?
I trained throughout college in Ninjutsu and that was my main form of fitness. Now, it's the gym for me every day! What's everyone else's regimen like?

 Re: Martial arts anyone?
I wish I had a regimen. I tend to eat, sleep, work, repeat... with the occasional Mountain Bike ride or hike with the wife and dog thrown in between. I definitely need to get out more... like right now... see ya!

 Re: Martial arts anyone?
I did Muay Thai for about a year or so, but when I started working full-time I just couldn't keep up the pace. These days it's mostly walking and occasional tennis. My weights come out when I feel a bit guilty for sitting around watching TV too much, but that's not nearly often enough.

 Re: Martial arts anyone?
Mixed Martial Arts is in my opinion the ultimate way of staying in shape I split my week into thai boxing, brazilian jiu jitsu and weight training Although i have had to sacrifice a few limbs i can never even think of a life without martial arts Broken bones list while sparring Right elbow-dislocated and cracked Right and left pinky finger-both broken Right rib- Broken Right knee acl operation and ive probably broken almost all my toes I think i have to stay of my right side for a while

 Re: Martial arts anyone?
I used to do full contact kick boxing (WKO) in my youth (about 18 years ago) never had the b@lls to step into the ring though The sparing hurt too much and I played amteur soccer Now I cycle - road racing, but still admire all the martial arts...boxers are my sporting heroes .... Ricky Hatton and Joe Calzaghe..superstars, thats my East side of the Atlantic bias creeping through I train about (minimum) 10 hours per week on the bike and about 1-2 hours with free weights. I wish I was 15 again

I train KRAV MAGA 3 times a week!
In my opinion the perfect way of self-defense!
When I was (much) younger, I trained a few years Hapkido!

 Re: Martial arts anyone?
I just tied two EM001s together with 2 metres of chain between them and use them like a bolas. That's all the self defence I need these days. And you can tell the time in two time zones. Which martial art can tell you the time in two time zones? Eh? Eh?
(I might also train in various southern style Kung Fu systems.)
