Distilled from the essence of pure adventure, EM001 by Enzo Mechana is the ultimate diver’s watch. With minimal ornamentation, it is in every sense a machine. Industrial and indestructible, the EM001 is literally bomb proof, crafted as it is to withstand a lifetime of extreme use. To create the watch, Enzo referenced his youth, and the fleeting, celluloid close-ups of the diver’s watches strapped to the wrists of Jacques Cousteau, and James Bond, circa the 60s, as they embarked on yet another undersea expedition. In the mysterious undersea caves, the black skin diving suits with aqualung in tow and the depth gauges strapped to the wrist beside the trusted divers watch, defined the stripped down, utilitarian aesthetic of the EM001. Rejecting today’s extraneous concept of the timepiece as jewelry and a status symbol, the EM001 is simply put, a true man’s watch.

When we set out to make this diver’s watch, we thought of stripping down the concept of a watch as jewelry or status and our mindset was in line with a machine or tank, industrial age forged steel, minimal ornamentation, something indestructible to last a lifetime of extreme use, simply put, a man’s watch, having said that, we would like to introduce to you the EM001.

12 months from original purchase date against all manufacturing defects. Crowns, cases, crystals, straps, bracelets, accidents or abuse are not covered by this warranty.
